The Tale of the Ledger

Our pub stands on the grounds of Kibworth's historic merchant toll house. In 1742, parish officers kept the "Green Ledger"—a record of every trader, alehouse keeper, and barrel of draft that crossed through the village. Today, we carry on that legacy: meticulously sourcing local Leicestershire grains, craft spirits, and seasonal produce, while keeping our own doors wide open to travelers and locals alike.
