We do not simply list steel and timber; we curate histories. Nestled in historic Stamford, we are the Midlands' premier boutique agency for the meticulous presentation, marketing, and transition of distinguished narrowboats and river launches.
Every vessel presented like a work of historic art.
We believe every boat holds a narrative that deserves visual preservation. Browse this interactive casebook of The Alderney, a 58ft traditional tug brokered through our Stamford office, showcasing how we elevate preparation and proof.
When The Alderney arrived at our moorings, her 1994 vintage steel hull had weathered years of deferred maintenance. The traditional paint livery was deeply oxidized, and the cabin bilge carried traces of historic water ingress. A beautiful craft, obscured by time.
Our team coordinated a complete diagnostic intervention. The hull was grit-blasted back to bare metal at our local dry dock, followed by 4 coats of premium epoxy blacking. Inside, master joiners refreshed the English oak cabinetry, while a marine electrician fully renewed her 12V domestic circuit.
Fully certified and styled by our in-house team, The Alderney was presented to our private buyers list. With a pristine engine room and spotless wood stove, she attracted three competitive offers within 48 hours, eventually selling to a buyer from York for a record sum.

A historic Edwardian-style river launch in impeccable condition. Restored by our team with an eco-conscious electric motor conversion.
A masterful vessel of exceptional build pedigree. Featuring a classic engine room with a fully restored historic 1952 engine and traditional boatman's cabin.
Most boat brokerages use lazy bullet points and grainy phone photos. We treat the sale of your vessel with the gravitas of a high-end estate transaction.
We do not sell dirty boats. Every craft enters our preparation protocol: minor woodwork repairs, deep engine bay degreasing, hull polish, and professional interior styling prior to photography.
We compile a complete physical and digital asset book for your buyer. Hull ultrasonic readings, engine service history, BSS compliance, and electrical diagrams are organized into a beautiful dossier.
Financial integrity is paramount. All client monies are held in an audited, ring-fenced client account with a premier British bank, protecting both vendor and purchaser throughout the settlement.
