How We Build

Iron & Substructure

We begin with engineered ground systems. Heavy structural steel beams are aligned to the millimeter on deep concrete padstones, forming an unyielding frame support.

Crafted in our yard, we hand-cut green English oak. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery is secured using draw-bored oak pegs that tighten over time.
